Keith Tan is a second-year international undergraduate LLB student from Singapore. Keith is the Logistics and Materials Coordinator for the University of Bristol Law Club (UBLC) negotiation committee. In his role as logistics coordinator, he organises the internal student negotiation competitions.
Fascinated by the concept of negotiation and dispute resolution, Keith is committed to a future career as a practicing solicitor. After attending internships back home in Singapore, he is particularly interested in alternative methods of dispute resolution such as meditation and arbitration.
Prior to university, Keith was busy completing his two-year national service as a Police Officer in the Singapore Police Force. Having competed in the CMS Cameron McKenna negotiation competition in 2016, Keith believes that skills obtained through negotiation are valuable assets that everyone should strive to attain. He hopes that as part of the negotiation committee, he will be able to increase awareness of student led competitions and encourages everyone interested to take part.
