You’ll need gumption and “a bit of spark” if you want to be a MoFo lawyer.

The Firm

This San Francisco firm first landed in the UK back in 1980 as part of the then 97-year-old firm’s decision to have a crack at operating outside of the USA. Masterminding £24 billion acquisitions of chip designers is the kind of thing City giants do. To learn that Morrison & Foerster’s modest 50-strong London team advised SoftBank on this proposed deal says rather a lot about this high-achieving firm.

Trainee Profile

The firm is looking for lawyers with a can-do attitude, a willingness to be challenged, openness to diverse perspectives, and some real energy. Trainees will receive work assignments suitable for a first or second-year associate and the support and training to excel in your work. Four six-month seats  are offered with the potential for joining one of the firm’s  Asian offices for one of them.
